Yes – I have a purple cauliflower. And while it is tiny, and probably won’t get much larger than this – it has made me very, almost childishly, excited to know I have a purple cauliflower in the garden at the moment. It’s actually called “Purple Sicily” and I grew it from seed, which has also made me pretty happy as I’ve never managed to grow a cauliflower from seed before. Now all that’s left is to eat…
I love the look of purple cauliflower – it’s just a shame the colour washes out when you cook it!
Best wishes 🙂
Congrats on the purple harvest. I just purchased one from a local market — it was delicious. I work in a school and shared it with some of the students. To say they were intrigued would be an understatement. Enjoy the feast!
Great post!
Cauliflower is one of the few things that do not grow well in my garden, wish I knew why.
AWESOME!!!
